The information you share while using Halinisa belongs to you. We explain clearly how we protect it.

1. Scope

This policy explains how the personal data we collect through the Halinisa mobile app and the halinisa.com website is processed, stored and protected. By using the app, you accept the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

  • Data you enter: menstruation, purity, istihada, pregnancy and postpartum records; symptoms, notes and cycle information.
  • Account information: your name and email address if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Technical information: device type, app version, session and cookie information; anonymous usage statistics if you allow them.

3. How We Use the Information

We use your data only to provide the features of the app: to calculate your cycle in accordance with Hanafi fiqh, to store your records, to send reminders and to improve your experience. We never sell your data.

4. Special Care for Your Health Data

Menstruation and cycle information is special-category health data and holds the highest level of privacy for us. This data is processed only to provide you with the service; it is not used for ad targeting and is not shared with advertising networks.

Anonymous use: If you prefer to use the app without signing in, your cycle and health data stays only on your device; it is never transferred to our servers.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

To operate the service, we work with the following providers only to the extent necessary:

  • Google Account: for sign-in and syncing across devices.
  • Google Analytics 4: only if you allow it, for anonymous usage measurement.
  • Google AdSense: only if you allow it, for displaying ads. Your health data is not used for this purpose.

These services may process data abroad. You can change your cookie preferences at any time and turn off analytics and advertising permissions.

6. Data Security

To protect your data against unauthorized access, loss and misuse, we apply reasonable technical and administrative measures: encryption during transmission (HTTPS), access controls and authorization. Although no system is 100% secure, we continuously review our security.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active and throughout the legal retention periods. You can delete your account and all your data at any time from within the app; deletion takes effect immediately and irreversibly. 8. Children's Privacy

Halinisa is intended for adult users. We do not knowingly collect data belonging to children under 13. If we become aware that such data has reached us, we delete it without delay.

9. Your Rights

Under the KVKK and relevant legislation, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data and to object to its processing. For details on these rights, you can review our KVKK Disclosure Notice page.

10. Changes and Contact
